Mariners visit the Langara Falcons to finish off the 2023-24 regular season

NANAIMO, B.C. - The top-seeded Mariners have two games remaining to fine-tune their play before the PACWEST provincial playoffs: Friday and Saturday on the road against the Langara Falcons.

VIU (18-4) at Langara (5-17)

Friday, February 23 at 6 p.m. & Saturday, February 24 at 1 p.m.
Previous matchups: VIU swept Langara in December 2023, 61-33 and 89-44
Games will be streamed live via the Langara Falcons YouTube page.

AT STAKE

Conference positions are already set; regardless of this weekend's outcomes, VIU will be the top seed heading into next weekend's PACWEST tournament while the Falcons will miss the post-season.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Langara: Fifth-year Julia Sprott will play her final home games of her varsity career. She'll be lined up with Langara's top scorer, Davian Tsang.

VIU: Fellow fifth-year Chloe Scaber has put up some big numbers over the last two weekends, including 28 points in a game at Camosun.
