VIU men's soccer heads back to the ferry and over to the Lower Mainland for two road matchups in Week #3 of the 2024 season.

When & Where

  • Saturday, September 21 vs Capilano University Blues at Lillooet Park, North Vancouver, 3:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, September 22 vs Langara College Falcons at Willoughby Community Park, Langley, 2:30 p.m.

Head-To-Head

The Mariners dropped their only matchup with the Blues this season, 2-1 last Sunday. The Falcons and Mariners split their season opening weekend in Nanaimo, with VIU taking a 2-1 win and Langara responding with a 5-0 decision. 

Watch Out Now

Capilano's Jeremy Monn-Djasngar and Langara's Takeru Kaku earned conference player of the week nods so far this season. For VIU, forward Charlie Smith has had an excellent start to his first PACWEST campaign, scoring 3 goals in 4 games.
