2020 PACWEST Championships February 27-29

The 2020 basketball PACWEST Championship tournament is set to begin on Thursday February 27 on the campus of Capilano University.

VIU Women will enter seeded #1, playing the #5 Camosun Chargers in the semi-finals on Friday at 5:30pm

VIU Men will play at 3pm on Friday, seeded #2, they will face the #3 Okanagan Coyotes.

Saturday the medal games will take place with the winner punching their ticket to the CCAA National Championship.

On the women's side the CCAA national final stays close to home hosted by the VIU Mariners so the PACWEST will get two representatives in the tournament.
If the Mariners make the PACWEST gold medal game the team that they are playing will automatically get a berth in the nationals.

On the men's side the PACWEST champion will head to Ontario for the national championship tournament hosted by Humber College in Toronto.
