Preview: VIU takes on Douglas & Capilano for the final road trip of the regular season
COQUITLAM/WEST VANCOUVER - VIU's final road trip of the 2022 PACWEST regular season pits the Mariners against the two teams right behind them in the conference standings: the Douglas Royals and Capilano Blues.
Saturday, October 1: VIU (4-1-1) vs Douglas (3-2-1)
In their first matchup of the season back on September 18, the Mariners handed the Royals one of their biggest defeats in the last ten years: a 4-0 game where the Mariners scored early and often. However, the Royals earned a 1-0 win over the Langara Falcons in their last game, while the Mariners look to rebound after their first loss of the season, 2-1 to Capilano on September 25.
